Resurrection After Rape Community Group
Discussion, question-and-answer, general social support, and journal processing for progress-oriented rape survivors. No crisis, no damaging or triggering conflicts--this is for individuals who want to contribute to collective, cooperative action toward the goal of making actual PROGRESS through rape trauma. Much of this work is based on the book "Resurrection After...
"If you've been hoping for a lucky break, Aries, this is the day it might come, especially if it involves love and romance. Or you might have been hoping for acknowledgment on the job, in the field of education, or by someone who means a lot to you. Whatever breaks come your way are likely to move you emotionally. You won't be the same. Have a great day."
Well, except that it only says something "might" happen, and it had nothing to do with love and romance, or job, or education...Okay, so it pretty much says something could (or could not) happen today, and if it's a lucky break it'll be nice and make me feel good--way to go out on a limb there, eh? And seven of the remaining eleven horoscopes also predicted the possibilities of changes, good news, and luck.
Though i think it pretty much covered any happy event that befell you today.
You know, just because it leaves you no option but for it to be right doesn't mean its not real ;-)
My reasoning...
Having worked in the photography industry for 6 years, I came to like matte photos much better than glossy. Matte gives sharper images, deeper colors, a more professional look, and best of all, NO FINGERPRINTS (or significantly less)
Seems to me after a few people leafing through the book without photo gloves a glossy papered book would be littered with fingerprints that would distract from the beauty that the pages have.
Just my humble opinion. :)
According to my horoscope (Aries) for today: It's going to be an interesting day, as the expression goes, complete with the possibility of a visit from the dreaded green-eyed monster. If it shows up, don't blame yourself. Jealousy is in the air; it has been for some time now. That doesn't mean you did anything to cause it, or that you're responsible. Your only defense is to be honest, stand your ground and explain what happened. After that's done, you can only hope they understand.
I wasn't feeling jealous this morning, but not that I read this, I just want to say - I BET ALL OF YOU NON-PACKER FANS ARE TOTALLY JEALOUS OF US. HEHEHEHE.
