I wrote a few months ago regarding my situation. I had an ultrasound back in October that did not reveal any abnormalities however becuase I have mircroscopic hematuria my doc ordered a CT scan which the radiologist read as normal however she saw a 1.6 cm lesion on the upper pole of my kidney. She sent me back for a repeat CT now in February and it revealed a 1.6 cm lesion with no changes. She advised me to continue to watch it and we would do an ultrasound in July to check for changes. She says that the lesion is way to small to biopsy and that surgical removal is not necessary at this time. She says that she doesnt suspect cancer however she cant guarantee anything without biopsy. My labs are normal and she says my kidneys work perfect. As for the bleeding she thinks that it is not attributed to my kidney lesion. What do you guys think? I feel like im a sitting duck waiting for something bad to happen. I dont feel sick in any way. But I am scared about this. IVe read several of the blogs and I dont share any of the similarities but im still scared to give this thing a chance to grow. Am i going to have to monitor for the rest of my life? This just seems exhausting!
