Renal Cell Carcinoma (Kidney Cancer) Support Group
Renal cell carcinoma, also known by a gurnistical tumor, is the most common form of kidney cancer arising from the renal tubule. It is the most common type of kidney cancer in adults. Initial therapy is with surgery. It is notoriously resistant to radiation therapy and chemotherapy, although some cases respond to immunotherapy.
I just wanted you to know that my fiance had several changes after his nephrectomy in 2008.. Basically, if you think about what the body take, taking out a part of an organ, and with a kidney there are so many places to be stiched up, than there would be alot of scar tissue.. I have read this on so many of my fiance's catscans, mostly right after his surgery.. But, like the other comments that you got, i would say the same, ask the doctors exactly what this reports means, then you will know for sure what this means, for futher catscan reports that your husband gets..
I am so happy for you both that there is no cancer, this is such wonderful news for you both..
Good luck, Be so happy and enjoy every new day, this is a miracle that isn't seen to often, you both deserve this.. Thank you for sharing your story, it so good to hear a happy ending story, you have made my day a better day !!
Hugs,
Becca
