Looking over some of these other posts makes me feel dumb. Like I shouldn't complain. I've only been dealing with CRPS for about a year and I'm over it. I can't imagine 10+ years of it! Nothing helps and it makes me crazy between the pain and the funky meds. I also have the extra stress of having to fight Worker's Compensation for my diagnosis. They don't want to pay for anything anymore because their doctor said I don't have it bad enough so I don't need more treatment. Meeting their criteria is a joke and now I'm still hurt and can't work but might have to since WC stopped paying me. Plus, I haven't been in therapy in months. Has anyone here had a similar situation that could tell me how their Industrial Commission hearing went? Or tell me how long you all have been in therapy? I've heard anywhere between 1 year and my entire life so I was wondering what is a more accurate time frame? Thanks.
I dealt with workman's comp in 2003 until I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. Then my case was dropped. They paid for my medical bills and cut me loose.
Do you have a lawyer? Any lawyers near you who do pro bono work?
All CRPS cases are different so it is frustrating that they are lumping you into a group.
Go to the Chronic Pain board on this site. There are more CRPS people over there.
