Rebuilding Marriage After Infidelity Community Group
A community for those who have been through the heartbreak of infidelity and decided to stay with their partner and try to re-build the relationship.
If you don't know my story, my hubby's affair partner was also one of my close friends. I have never spoken with her since dday. Not face to face, though she still tries to track me down in public every now and again, not through email, phone, zip. I've had her blocked on fb since dday and continue to block all the new accounts she sets up but somehow she was still aware of where I was going to be at if I posted it on fb. I know this could be a third party friend giving her info or what have you but I finally decided today to unblock her for the 48 hours that fb deems mandatory. Sooooo, hadn't looked through all the old bs, private messages we had been sending each other the entire time she was sleeping with my husband without my knowledge, omg the lies and crap she spewed that summer, makes me queasy but I traveled down that road today and read it all, ugh, but all in the name of research or at least thats what I keep telling myself. I want to write a memoir of my life but I'm truly afraid to poke the bear at this point and I'm beginning to think that possibly I should stop working on the book, even though it breaks my heart to think about chucking it. Just not sure what to do? I don't want to work on this for another year and then be afraid of backlash from her since she's been pretty quiet for awhile right now? Any feedback would be welcomed and know that she is a true psycho and if I was to simply gloss over the affair and make little mention of it that would enrage her even more (even hubby agrees with that).

But as some of you know, I too am a writer (9 published). Naturally, I wrote a book about our journey. And I started a blog about infidelity.
However, neither of Gabi's local OMs were very tech savvy. (OM#2 didn't have an FB account until Gabi helped him set one up during the A, and she kept having to tell him how to do things on it.) Don't get on-line much. Are not readers. So it is highly likely neither of them know about the book or have read it. I think if the second one did, he'd be to scared to make contact, especially me. He'd freak out, even though I didn't use his real name in the book in order to "protect the guilty." Not that it wasn't tempting, but the goal was to help people going through this, not strike back at him and get sued.
If he was more like your OW, though, I might have had second thoughts as well.
