Reading Circle Community Group
A group for folks in all walks of life in any situation that want to expand their minds or occupy themselves away from a pressing matter and delve into reading good literature. Activities will include but are not limited to discussions on books read, recommendations on what to read, and critical analysis to broaden appreciation for old and new literature.
Maybe it's no so much the story as something I took away from it that I've always remembered.
In no particular order as well:
First Love, Last Rites--Ian McEwan
Atonement--Ian McEwan (I guess I like his writing...)
Ulysses--James Joyce
The Alchemist--Ben Jonson (it's a play..so might not count) so much for keeping my nerdiness at bay.
and I am ruminating over The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay by Michael Chabon.
And I realllly like The Watchmen--Alan Moore (graphic novel)
Okay. I'll stop.
