In my opinion, it isn't important. I can seriously live WITHOUT it. And I think that if you can live without it, n your partner is willing to sacrifice that (because that is how much they care about you), it'll be that much better...but idk.

But back to your question, IMO, it isn't as important in relationships as people make it seem.
