I was raped two months ago yk, I really thought i would be over it by now, it sounds so stupid but IDK I really hoped I would be better. It was at this party, I lost all my friends, he touched me everywhere, by the end we went back inside and one of my friends saw his hand in my pants and didn't say anything
It sounds like this was someone in your circle or community. I’ve experienced that too. What I have witnessed is that most people don’t want to see bad things because it’s hard and upsetting. And since it didn’t happen to them, they don’t want to experience that. They may make ridiculous demands, ignore you, put you down. It’s all because they are too weak to handle it. It’s really horrible because it feels like you have been raped again. It’s a really hard spot for you to be in. If you stand your ground, you have to deal with more horrible shit. If you stay quiet, you silently shrink into a person who is no longer there. The people who don’t believe you never will. It’s hard but my advice is to find a new circle. These people obviously don’t see you as a person and don’t care about your well-being.
