Today I saw my therapist. It had been a couple weeks since I attended therapy. Last session was really difficult and when it came time to go back, I had a huge anxiety attack. I mean, it was like I wasn't capable of being human. I cancelled appointments, I couldn't leave the house and finally I couldn't even take a shower. Everything was a trigger and I was avoiding everything. I didn't eat for several days. It was very bad.

Then suddenly, I was ok. I went to therapy today and as I was trying decipher all this stuff I had gone through, I realized what had started this all. I felt like I could see the whole thing in front of me. My therapist and I sorted it out together. She finally said, the doctor exam wasn't really a rape, but there were aspects of it that felt like it was and to me it was like I reached a maximum point of violation. I had just gone through this too many times. It makes so much sense to me. All my actions seemed like ways I behaved after the assault.

So I guess my question is, do you think a body can endure too much? Can you suffer too many mental breakdowns?

Does anyone have an opinion? Any little bit will help?
