So, awhile back a friend mine managed to get it out of me that I was raped. It came out in a conversation when she asked why I was going to therapy and I.decided I was going to be truthful with her.

Lately she started plaguing me about it. She wanted me to talk to her as I told her i was having flashbacks last week. So, after a glass of wine, she started asking me questions and wouldn't drop it. So, I reckoned if I gave her some info she'd end up leaving it. One of the things she wanted to know was who did it, and I told her it was my ex. Now, i know the girl if full of best intentions, but what came next... Her response was that it must have been easier for me because it was someone I knew. I just thought to myself: "You poor ignorant soul."
I know she's a friend and she means good, but don't people think before they open their mouths? Like, if she wants to support me, wouldn't you think she'd familiarise herself with the subject before giving support... Man! Good job I'm strong enough to handle that.
