Self- Therapy

A very dear person to me suggested a little while back that I should get out my emotions by writing them down. She called it self therapy. Well, I took her advice and started writing. I started with my mother. Then went from there. See, I am writing a series in my journals that are my self therapy. And Im here to ask if any of you would be willing to help me. I need help in continuing these, and getting everything out to heal. I will need your comments and love to get through these. So PLEASE is anyone willing to help?

If you are its really easy. Just drop by and leave a comment on my journal page. Thats it. Every comment is more strength that I didn't have before. I feel vulnerable and kinda stupid for asking, but I really would appreciate it.

sELF THERAPY DOES NOT HELP... SEEK A GOOD THERAPIST DEAL WITH ISSUES HEAD ON GRAB THE BULL BY THE HORNS.. SURE IT MAY HURT BUT YOU WILL GET THRU IT!!!!! WHATEVER DOESNT KILL US MAKES US STRONGER!

I think you need to find what works best for you. I have kept my attack to myself for years, this site is my first step in getting help, that and talking to my husband. I hope that one day i will be able to go to therapy, but at the moment that seems a long way off so i am just doing this. So i suppose i am doing 'self help'.

If you think it will help do it.

A therapist told me to write my thoughts on pieces of paper,as I had them, Then to put them into a box. When I felt ready pull one out and try to deal with it, with the help of family & friends if needed. Its hard but has helped.

I think you have a very wise friend. Writing has helped me in more ways than I can explain. I will be more than willing to read your journals and leave comments. Going there right now.
