i was never drugged and i never drank alcohol the night if my rape.....i was wondering if anyone else firgets part of it.....like there were two parts that i kind of blanked out on what happened.....but then one i remembered about a year later......and now i can't remember what happened at one point......i cant remember what i did after i screamed no...i don't remember if i ran for the door or if i turned around and he pulled me back or if i just froze....i can't remember!!!! it's really bugging me!!!!! i kinda wanna know, but at the same time i don't....am i the only one who can't remember it all even if i wasn't drugged or didn't consume any alcohol????

i don't remember many details about the first time i was raped either...(the same guy raped me several times, and i remember the ones after the first time). i've been told by several people that because the event is so traumatic, the brain naturally blacks part of the memory out until it feels we are able to better deal with the event. maybe that's true? but you definitely aren't alone!!

I remember a lot of pain, the blood and some pf the attack but sinew posts just get hazy....I haven't talked about it since I went through three years of rape counseling dealing with it.......just sometimes when you dealt with it and the crazy emotions I feel there is no need to think about it or remember really.....so even when I do think about it it's as if I put it so fast behind me that I only recall some parts

hi love how are you? its bugging because maybe you have pushed it back in your head!! so your mind natural blocks things out! that you dont want to remember or because you were so scared!!! its normal sweetie!! your fine. dont feel bad. but i do encourage to write about it. maybe then every itme you remember you can put things together. try it chat back and let me know what you came up with!!!

Gosh reading my post I realize how bad my swype feature messed up haha so...... I only remember some parts of my attack and some parts just get hazy...and it's hard to think about my past cause I feel I've put most of it behind me.....but there are days when it just hits me and I feel like I'm back to square one
