well a bit about me firstly i didnt relise there was a support group for pasificly rape so i was always a member of the sexual abuse group

i was firstly abused as a kid between 11-16 im not sure if it was rape then bt he always came in and touched me in the night my vagina and breasts he ended up going to jail for 3 years he was my best friends step dad, and my best friends sister called the police i remember being interviewed at 16 and lieing as my parents were there gutted now.

then i went on to work in a 5* hotel in live in accomodation 2011 id just broken up with my long term bf at this stage and a collegue / friend came into my room and sexually abused and raped me i contacted the police bt the polices verdict was he only cared abt me:/ i moved past this with the support of my new bf at the time who was always there for me and helped me move on

then only 2 months ago i work on a luxury cruise line and while on an overnite in antwerp belgium i was agen raped not once bt 3 times by another collegue was intense i was shocked and it was out on the streets aswell i lost all my friends on the ship when i told my boss who contacted the captain i got a formal statment and ful medical done bt nothing came out of it ... my ex/bf who were are now casually dating told my parents what happend and i came home 2 and half weeks before my contract ended the company are fab and have supported me so much im now re joining the company in 3 weeks bt on a bigger and diff ship so fresh start

i dunno where that leaves me im alway crying down cant sleep and feel bad for scott(semi dating bf) hes always there for me bt i hate putting him through this as for my family they keep asking me how i am bt i cant bring myself to talk

i went through councelling last year stopped before xmas didnt really help as i dont really like talking abt it so didnt say much i do however have a crisis appt next week with them ...

please can someone help me :(

i'm so sorry that you had to go through all of that.....therapy works....it just takes time....therapists can push you and when you open up and talk about it, it'll be okay....there's a third party there who will support you and you know you're safe with them......i know from experience that keeping it bottled up does wat more harm than good.....i'm glad that you have appoitnment with them next week.....i think your family is being very supportive and maybe if you could just sit down with them and say that you're not doing so well and maybe you guys could just have dinner or something or do something together so that you have that bond with them....your bf sounds like he's supportive too, which is what you really need.,..support.....he;s been throguh tough stuff but YOU have too....don't feel like you have to please him or anything, because you should be taking care of YOU....i hope this helped...if you wanna talk, i'm here

yes my friends and family and bf are very supportive of me i try to tell them and i cant talk face to face :/ were going away next week for few days before i leave

Hi , I am so sorry for you, you don't deserve this it is wrong. I always wondered about those ships and people on them. I don't know how you can be safe on there. If someone decided to do this where can you go for help. Do you have any self defense courses now. I think you need some protection, bear spray or a gun or knife some way so you will be safe. I just wondered do you share rooms or do you get your own private room. Can anyone get in your room? Yes you definitely need to talk to someone with counselling one rape is hard but when it happens repeatedly , you start to self doubt. I know this from experience . I love working on the ship its amazin an experience to cherish really

no were not allowed anything on the ship like knifes etc and yea I either share with 2 or 1 girl and we have our own room keys from the crew purcer so not anyone can come in I guess that's the theory anyway

im excited to return bt self conscious at the same time its a diff ship diff ppl bt I leave in 3 weeks:/

and yes last nite I cried for 7 hours from 10-5am and now feel so down thanks for ur reply I just need someone to comfort me:(

My bf last nite ignored all my crys for help and played games :/ his rey was I dont know what to say to you I need my time aswell :( its annoying

Im sorry this has happened to you. Ive been in a somewhat similar situation being raped multiple times. Its hard to get through, but if other people can do it than we can too. Talking sometimes isnt easy, therapy never worked for me either. I found the easiest way to talk was to someone I really trusted and could rely on. I poured everything out on them and they were there to give me a hug. I hope you can get through this, theres always hope. Hugs
