raped at 15 nightmares and depression

hi all i was raped at 15 by a guy i did not know this was over 2 years ago i had help from the rape crisis centre test done for std,s and so on  but ive  got very bad depression  and low moods i keep getting flashbacks nightmares anxiety and stress and panics attacks ive even self harmed

I’m very sorry to hear this. Are you seeing a doctor regarding your traumatic experience? I’m very sorry for all you are going through. I pray that you can get the help you need and all your nightmares will be gone. I also pray for complete healing. God’s peace and comfort be upon you.

thanks yes i seeing the doctor and have been put on a number of tablets iam waiting to see some one from mental heath @ the hospital thanks

You're not alone... I have the same issues... night terrors, flashbacks, anxiety and panic. My latest attack was in 2008

I occasionally have panic attacks accompanied by bad dreams. But only caused by stress, nothing like as traumatic as what you have experienced. Good luck with doctors and medication and keep going.
