This appears to be perhaps the most common question here; hardly a day goes by without a new thread asking whether a certain event was rape or not. I'd like to offer something that might be helpful with all the confusion and uncertainty.

does it mean, "no, no doesn't mean no"?
sorry...it just confused me...
if i say no, and he goes ahead, it's rape
if i say stop and he goes ahead, it's rape
if i say yes because of a threat or duress or coercion, it's rape
if i willingly submit to a rapist in order to save another person from the attack, it's rape.
