Triggers..................too many to list, some i don't even know until they happen.
Most of the triggers i have experienced since being in counselling i can quickly work on before the 'reaction' happens, some take a blink of an eye, some take a few minutes, others can put me back in my closet for days, it can also depend how stressed i am when they happen. And my reactions to them differ immensely.
The ones that I know about seem to relate to smells. Lynx body spray; any particular variety, they all seem to have the same underlying basenote that still makes me shudder.
And the taste/smell of cider as well - not that I particularly miss it as a drink lol! (I can't even remember for sure, but I'm 99% certain that's what I was drinking the night my drink was spiked.)
i guess, just know that you're definitely not alone...
But, remember you are NOT alone:)
But as I read the question, and in spite of all that I'd accomplished, I gotta say my triggers are: the smell of beer, being stared at in that coming on to me kinda way, people (women or men) I don't know being way too familiar with me or standing too close.
