A group specifically to discuss the book, and to post journals and questions. If you have the book, it'd be a good idea to join this community and turn it into a "book club" for survivors. I'll participate as often as I can, too.

We need more activity! To entice newcomers, I have posted a thread containing direct links to MANY mp3 files of music that is relevant, expressive, or just plain uplifting (of many styles). You can also read and comment on peoples' written activities form the book, and Heckle (Victoria) is present to respond to further questions about her own role in the story. Her rape narrative is not in the book, but she is very willing to use her experiences and recovery work to enlighten others, and is a resource that should not be overlooked.

And please, keep those notes of support to Heckle and ShayMarie coming; these two amazing survivors gave ALL of their story, their privacy, their heartbreaking (and heart-building) writings for public view, for the sake of supporting others. That cannot be underestimated.

Signed myself up AND ordered my own personal copy of the book (gave the first one to my darlin daughter and I wouldn't dream of taking it from her). I'll be seeing you all.
