I'm really strugggling daily since the rape. It's been over three months and I still feel burning in my genitals. The predator didn't wear a condom and didn't listen to me saying I wasn't ready and wasn't comfortable and that it wasn't right. I'm so angry, after being checked multiple times the only thing that has come up is high risk hpv. Has anyone else experienced itching/burning vagina? Please help it's constant and I don't think it's in my head. It must be the hpv or warts coming or something.. but I honestly can't live daily with this 'feeling'. Do others experience this from anxiety? I don't think it is anxiety but hpv, the itching burning is so bad and no Doctor can help me please has anyone been in this situation before

You experienced a trauma to your vagina you need to give it time to recover. In my experience my vagina was torn it took many months to feel remotely ok. When i finally recovered i felt a horrible burning and itching i thought it was going to be hpv turned out to be bacterial vaginosis. After antibiotics i was feeling better. Best advice i have for you is wait! If you still feel these sensations then go back to your doctor and get tested. Keep your chin up ill be praying for you. If you can go to your nearest support group It will help with your anxiety

Thank you so much for the reply! I’m going crazy! So sorry for your experience and I’m glad it got better for you after antibiotics. I was hoping after being tested they would find something to treat the symptoms. I will keep going on and trying, the father to my kids is very supportive I feel so guilty putting this burden on him too though

Itching and burning sounds like yeast infection. I just went through the HPV deal and it only comes out under naturally what your under stress and to my knowledge from what the Dr explained to me itching and burning wasn't a symptom of HPV. If the Dr can't find any thing else you could try OTC meds or medicated douches to clear up milder yeast infections
It could also be your healing if you were ripped or anything during the rape being that area is moist it takes a bit longer to heal in that case u would try warm baths with Epsom salts.. hope this helps I'm so sorry for what you have been through keep fighting you will come out the other side of this
