i wasn't exactly sure where to post this, but this brought up anxiety and feeling like a victim so i guess here would be okay....soooo yesterday i was at work at a kid's dad was checking him in and i was at the door....i asked how the dad was, just being nice and the dad said that he was good and asked how i was.....then he looked up and saw me and said,"what's your name??" "valerie.." "valerie??? okay....thanks valerie.." and then walked away as i let the kid in....i thought the dad was gonna ask me a question or something.....well then i was cleaning in one of the rooms about 90 minutes later and i saw the dad at the window....he waved and then pointed to the door that he wanted to check out.....another girl went over and he went away...I went to the door and he came back.....then i signed the kid out and the dad was like,"thanks valerie...you're great..." then smiled at me......then he left....it freaked me out!!!! i didn't really process it until today......i have anxiety....i think it's weird and it makes me feel like i'll be a victim again....am i overreacting??? should i be worried??? i mean he didn't do anything wrong, but some of my coworkers said that it was kinda weird.....what should i do???
