I just broke up with my boyfriend that I just met. I tend to get into relationship after relationship craving for love. Its been like this since my dad passed away a year ago. I am damaged goods, defected. I know deep down that is not true.. He told me in his own words that it is too much for him. He does not think he can handle it. I asked him to stop twice but he didn't. I get scared when it gets real intense, because afterwards i cry and want to curl up into a ball. Twice things were triggered in me when we were intimate. I gues he thinks that I wil have him arrested. He just wanted to reach his peak if you know what I mean.
I feel so tired and weary. I wanted to sleep all day. I thought that I was over all this, but realize now I am not. No man will want a woman with all my issues. I don't blame them. I feel as if I am losing hope that there is a decent man out there that will be patient with me, be okay with it all. Maybe that is only in a perfect world.

i'm so sorry that that happened to you....i know hwo you feel....i have so many diagnoses and so many issues that i worry about that as well.....therapy has helped me a lot and if you want you can go to your local rape crisis center....they sually offer therapy for free......i know it;s hard to beeleive but someone WILL love you for who you are and will be able to give you all the love you deserve, want and need....if you ever wanna talk, i'm here

Knowing deep inside that you're NOT defected or damaged is a great start. I have a wonderful man in my life, 10 years and counting, and I still feel like damaged goods from all the stuff that happened before him, but I know I haven't dealt with things. But try to hold on to that and build on it however you can.

There are decent men out there that will be patient with you; you have to be willing to wait, and in the meantime do your therapy and whatever other things that help you. It's better to be alone than with someone who doesn't listen when you're asking them to stop, whether it's in the bedroom or anywhere else, teasing or tickling or whatever. Someone who doesn't listen during everyday stuff isn't going to start listening during the big stuff. When you find the one who will listen, and hold you when you cry, it'll have been worth the wait.

thank you for your msg. The thing is I thought I found that man who would listen to me, and hold me which he did but it did not work out. He began texting some women behind my back because I was not spending enough time with him. I felt so used and not appreciated. I keep being told don't give up there is someone out there for you. I am 50 yrs. How much longer do I have to wait. I get more and more discouraged as each relationship falls apart. I know that my main problem is that i rush into relationships. They usually want to go past the friendship stage and be more than a friend. They sometimes moan and groan cause they have not had sex for so long, poor baby. So, they use me use me and its all about them. I think sometimes I am better off with my vibrator and my romance books. It seemed to work before.

There are great people out their who will want nothing more than to support you, love you, and try to take the pain away.

You will find someone who will have the courage to travel this journey with you, and will want to care for you.

Thank You. I have been feeling so empty and very lonely today. I wanted to sleep all day.. I have cried so many tears till I finally went to sleep, that i guess there are no more tears to cry. I have a big heart, am a romantic, love being a woman, but here I am in my empty apartment just me and my sweet little dog that is always there for me.
I wish all the pain would go away. I am so very very very tired. Sometimes, I feel so numb
