Rape Support Group
If you or someone you know has been the victim of rape, this is the place to find support and get advice. If you want, discuss your experience, share your feelings, and meet others going through a similar situation.

I was sexually assaulted as a kid. I find it hard to accept that another person's actions caused me so much harm. He made bad choices and now I am paying the price. Stupid PTSD!
just talk.. the more you talk, the better you will do...
we are all victims of different sexual stuff.. guys and gals.. we are here for each other.
The more you talk, the stronger you get.... but... all this depends on you... that’s the really cool thing here.. you share as much, or as little as you want to!!
I would recommend you finding yourself a good trauma therapist..
if you don’t know where to start, google or bing
RAINN NETWORK
They can help point you in the right direction...
Hang in there, your much stronger than you think you are!!

A little while later, I went back to school and I ended up embracing the opportunity to get counseling through them. It really helped more than I could've imagined! Talking is a powerful tool and will help you through your journey to healing.
I wish I could give you advice on how to get through your triggers......maybe breathing and reminding yourself that you are safe, you're at the hospital, and you're just going to sleep might help....or maybe having a trusted friend or family that you can confide in there with you will help...
Also, I think strength is a side effect of the healing process - like, the more you press towards healing, the stronger you become.
