This Bill Cosby situation has triggered me big time. It brought back memories of being raped by a college boy who was a wrestler trying to impress his fraternity brothers. I was sober and a virgin. I have not dealt with this at all in 45 years. I just want to post this somewhere because I never discussed it with anyone including my husband who died 3 years ago. Thanks for listening.
Sorry to hear about your trigger. Assault and rape and tricky things. Sometimes we feel we have moved past it and then years down the road are reminded by something that may seem a bit out of the ordinary. We may even start wondering WHY we are thinking about it. I am so sorry this happened to you. It was not your fault. That guy is a horrible human being. I hate him for doing that to you.
I am seeing a counsler, but I want to be "normal" again. Only 3 poeple know what my then husband did to me.
