I am new to this group because I kept joining other groups, not feeling entitled to deal with the real issues, which is that we live in a 'rape soceity' that condones the behavior of the rapists, mocking the victims when we speak out against the rape, if we even can speak out against the rape, because you know, we don't even have the vocabulary to talk about the victimization feelings that we have, let alone the confidence after being raped. being raped, makes a being feel powerless, and I don't mean in a healthy way, I mean defeated and terrified. I felt terrified that it would happen again and again, and also, the rape allies, because for me, there are a lot of men who support the rapist in his raping of me, condoning it and supporting it, these allies terrify me, and terror is not consent.
terror is terror.
these people who pretend to 'read' your body language or pretend to read your thoughts, your 'true' thoughts and feign that 'she wanted it' and then force sex, are terrorists.
this last rape, there is a kangaroo court this time, not a real court of law, and because this man has a lot of money, the rape allies support him, and point their finger at me, mocking me and humiliating me so that I will comply.
I then had to go and report the whole lot to the police and the authorities, which for me meant time away from my business, and energy, etc. and I already am one down from being raped.
I look forward to promoting a nonrape culture in society.
perhaps with Hilary as president, and I am not even deomocrat, but perhaps we women who are considered here int he usa the weaker sex, and so in some mens minds, the 'victims' for their greater sex, perhaps we will be able to change culture and make it easier and easier to prosecute the rapist and his allies.
I don't think anyone enjoys being raped, male or female.
and I know many males who would argue in favor of eliminating a rape culture in the usa and abroad.
so, especially if you have creativity at your disposal, that you use it to help publicize a zero tolerance of rape.
I know how you feel, I live in a tiny town and everybody knows that this happened. I know the guy who did it has told everybody that he was found not guilty so people think I'm a liar. I know being found nt guilty doesn't mean that there was just lack of evidence.
I'm sorry that you feel the way you do, you can talk to me any time! I have joined other sites to but the questions I ask get modified and I just have the moderator telling me to go to counselling, but when it's the early hours of the morning and you have nobody to talk to a message board helps a lot. It's like other sites don't want anybody discussing something like this.
I don't live in the US so I'm not sure what Hilary Clinton stands for but I'm going to have a look now seeing as you mentioned her.
I intended on becoming a counsellor myself one day when I feel better about all of this but I can't see that happening soon. I really would like to help others and let them know they aren't alone.
