I've been happily single for the last nine months. Just this week a guy asked me out on a date and I agreed. He's a cute looking guy and appears to be a decent person. I'm so anxious. I'm ok going on a date and meeting him, I think it should go ok. But this whole situation is bringing up a huge fear in me that he might end up hurting me. Not straight away, but down the road. I know it's nothing to do with him as he has been nothing but a gent up to this point, and I'm not getting a weird vibe off him. I understand that it's an issue I have with men in general. I can see myself avoiding dating men in future out of fear of them. It's crippling...How can I best deal with this fear?
