i'm listening to the news and one of their headlines is talking about how the court ruled "guilty" against two high school students accused of rape and how the accused are crying.....omfg!!! GIVE ME A BREAK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it's kind of making me mad.....i mean no one pays attention to life that they ruined or how many times that victim cries or how awful her life will be from now on, but when the rapists decide to shed some tears when they ges the verdict we're supposed to feel sorry for them??????!!!!!!!!!! i just find this ridiculous....am i the only one???

yea..your talking about the case in ohio...right..the black and white teen...they will be in jail until there 21 years of age...im fucken glad!! they deserve it...but they were hugging there farthers crying...yea i was there on that case as well with her....i cant go into detail of all what they did to her but a lot of it brought bck deep memories for me.....and yes i agree.

It's about time they start putting guys in jail for date rape, they have been getting away with it for years. Too damn bad they cried let's pray they get gang raped and know how it feels,maybe then they will think They all thought it was funny when it was happening, why didn't anyonestop it .That's what we need to ask too isabeetwice.

This case has made me especially angry. I think one of the biggest problems here is that women are still thought of as possessions/property. I think that these boys really don't think they did anything wrong -- and many of the men who get women drunk in order to lower their inhibitions and take advantage of them don't think they do anything wrong either. This is the exact thinking that kept me from reporting my rape and I wish I had made a different decision.

Nothing is going to change until men change the way they think. I see so many jokes on TV about getting a woman drunk in order to get sex from here and it is despicable to me. And in the movie Ted there was a reference that rape is somehow the fault of the victim for the clothes they wear. It makes me sick and I think our government needs to enact harsher penalties for these crimes.

Yeah I totally cheered when they got sentenced. They need to know what prison life feels like. I'm just sorry it's a juvenile detention that they're going to rather than prison. I figure rape is just as bad as murder, the vic's are never the same and their lives are forever altered. Some are even so shattered that coping is unbearable.

This whole case kind of ticked me off, because the news was feeling sorry the the two guys whole raped a 16 years old girl at a couple parties. It makes me mad that they are focused on the fact that their lives are ruined, what about the girl How do you think she is feeling. The mentioned that acohol was part of it like oh well we were drunk.

For one I am glad they got jail time. I just wish it was for life.
