did you see the 17 year old who killed herself in india over rape ?
as a point what are the real figures, supposing they are higher and being manipulated. love and condolensces to her family and friends and community, has anyone any thoughts ?

I was reading about India and how men just rape all the time over there. It's so crazy. I can't imagine living in a place like that. You would never feel safe.

The government really need to put in laws to stop men doing this. Castration maybe.. some suggested the death penalty, but for those it would be so awful if a mistake was made, so maybe that is too harsh? I don't know.

I wonder if she knew about Daily Strength?

we now have a 23 year old dead. it is terrible and mistakes must not e made. but if its a simple you did this you killed or raped or both. as far as im aware the death penalty is allowed. a barbaric action of that nature, and a gang is not even conceivable.
over sex crimes is bad enough but to kil that way is deserving of the
death sentence. im ok personaly but you obviously must make sure no mistakes are made.
of course you must also make sure no false stories or rumours are presented, but i assume its an public crime that was seen.
so providing the identification is ok, its safe in that sense as far as i know and just deserts.

i saw that she was running around trying to get it reported etc.
if the report was right.
it also worried me that they were like where i came from. when a attack
starts they are like the ayatolah when he said "you were with a man" .
so if you dont get it reported properly they blame you, inc out of spite
theres other religions that do that even if youre not a member.
but thats also a problem that if you dont get it written up right
that they can castigate the victim and say "you did that with them"
its like that in some places. i dont now if that was the problem
but it can be.
