Pyromania is an obsession with fire and starting fires in an intentional fashion. Pyromaniacs are identified specifically as not having any other symptoms but obsession with fire causing their behavior. Pyromaniacs start fires to induce euphoria, and often tend to fixate on institutions of fire control: fire stations, firefighters, etc.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). However, my urges are triggered from negativity/tension causing extreme anxiety to the point of panic attacks ( causing me to rock back and forth and push my torso against my knees to smother that god-awful uncontrollable urgency). I requested to put on meds and am now but the I still feel it and if I I have to, I'll light a candle or too. I even bought an old Firefighter's turn out gear jacket to pull on for emotional comfort. It's thick and heavy which helps to calm me down.
