Pulmonary Hypertension Support Group

Pulmonary hypertension (PH) is an increase in blood pressure in the pulmonary artery or lung vasculature, leading to shortness of breath, dizziness, fainting, and other symptoms, all of which are exacerbated by exertion. Depending on the cause, pulmonary hypertension can be a severe disease with a markedly decreased exercise tolerance and right-sided heart failure.

Hi I picked up a virus,flu like thing going round because of the IPF and the condition of my lungs I am supposed to hit the er if my temp hits 100.5 it did just barely and new as thing got worse so I was just about talked into it and my temp came back under if it goes up again I will have to go I can't afford to lose more lung to inflammation I am not worried about dying but sticking around even more useless but like everyone I really hate the hospital. For now I am holding and as long as I stay under that mark I don't have to go unless my breathing gets worse again. Thanks for checking and I just switched doctors so I guess I would go to Goshen I have never went there before. Thanks again.

I spent a week in the hospital got out the day before Christmas with bronchitis. Had it bad. The day after Christmas I took my hubby to ER and he has h1n1 Swine flu. I was so concerned I would get it. He was contagious days before we knew he had it and kiss kiss every time he left me and come back while I was in the hospital. I was sure I would have it. I didnt get it. He wore a mask and stayed in another room during the day and at night we slept by each other but not cuddling and I wear my cpap and oxygen so I guess it kept it blowed away. TJ I am praying the LORD hold you in His hands. I know He is.

I have finally broke down went to hospital last night really it was more I had to go if I wanted to keep breathing barely. WWII here I am will be here a little but I think I can go tomorrow.. I got so sick. I already feel better. I V drugs always help. Talk later thanks tj

Just got home they were full but asked me if I thought I would be ok I said sure u can breathe now my heart has settled down I still feel really tired so going to nap thanks for your concern Peace and Fonzy. Tj
