I have had a hard time on my meds. Every thing but the stomach cramps. If it keeps up, check with your doctor to make sure it isn't a reaction. Warfarin seems to make us all feel different in some way or another. Hope it gets better!

Thanks. It does help to feel not so alone. All I really want is to go back to work. sometimes especially in the afternoon I feel fine.
very shaky flu like at the moment. does this get better? is my body just adjusting?

I've had most of those symptoms ... just not with warfarin. They showed up when I stopped taking the Ativan for anxiety and started taking Lexapro instead. Most of them were withdrawal symptoms from Ativan. Only the night sweats were really associated with the Lexapro.

I would check in with your doc for sure ... just to make sure he/she is aware of all this.

the first two years on warfarin i laid on the couch wreathing in pain. very little food stayed down i usually ended up in urgent care once a week or more for I.V. re hydration and morphine for pain. every kind of GI test was done i was pretty much wrote off as a nut case. i slept with a barf bucket for the two years i finally begged for a consult at UCLA GI department and saw a doc down there i was given 20 mg of desipremine and in one week i was eating and threw out the barf bucket. now recently i had to change to lovenox inj and back to sleeping with the barf bucket even have to drive with it in my lap it has been so bad. was at the doctors office today and stood up to show him where the pain was and immediately grabbed his trash for a barf bucket. i don't know why some of us just have a harder time adjusting to or accepting medications. it is like our bodies are saying i wasn't born with that chemical in me therefore i refuse to accept it. unfortunately this is not abnormal. and there is no one solution that works to alleviate it. keep trying and make sure you have a doctor that respects you and does not treat you like a nut case and goes the extra mile to at least try to find solutions. take care

I agree. It is about 45 minutes after I take warfarin when I start withering.. I have to force myself to eat because I feel as if my throat and stomach are knotted up. Right now it's so bad I cannot sleep (and I'm on here feeling a bit better that I'm not alone).

I have lumps from taking lovenox 5 weeks ago. When something rubs against them I get super sick. Gut wrenching all over.

**also, I have had a metallic taste in my mouth since it started. Anyone else have this???*** Sometimes my tongue and jaw area goes numb and tingles.

Wafherin really upset my stomach as well in the beginning, but it did got better. i was also late afternoon and at night...
