By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.

Ok no video attached but at work tonight one of my patients who I will call Mary had a total melt down and called me into her room. She was crying and said she was sure she was going to die tonight and go to meet God, she asked me if I thought she lead a good life and would go up instead of down. I assured her she was going to go up. I spent the next hour trying to calm her down and finally got her feeling better. I left her watching TV. a little later as i was walking by her room I saw her call light on and I heard her scream "OH DEAR GOD". I went running in her room to see what was the matter. I looked and saw her bed raised as high as it would go which was about 5 ft off the floor. I asked her what was going on and how she got up there. and Mary replied I don't know but I didn't expect to go visit GOD quite in this fashion. Apparently she had fallen asleep and her elbow was resting on the automatic bed controls and hit the button to raise and lower the whole bed, Here she was all the way up in the air and woke up staring at the ceiling not very far away i might add, and thinking she was going through the ceiling on her way up to heaven. I couldn't help but chuckle as I lowered her bed and then spent the next hour convincing her she wasn't going to die as GOD didn't quite work like that.

Your poor patient. It is funny but sad at the same time. Bless you for being there for her. Please have a pastor/minister visit her since it seems she has questions about going to Heaven.

Lol bless her. I hope I get taken in my bed but knowing my luck it'll be under the number 37 bus when I'm not wearing matching underwear!!
