Hello guys!! I just got off Lovenox this week. I went to my primary care doctor today (for other problems with my thyroid). My dad thought he remembered my doctor saying that there were things you could do to prevent (or help prevent) a blood clot. We discussed all of the things we have all heard (walk around on plane rides. Stop AT least once every 4 hrs) and also he said I could take an asprin a day and that would help to prevent from getting a clot. He said he would make sure I at least took one when I went on long trips ect also a good idea to do it every day! (this is the low dose 81 mg asprin. I am sure you have heard about it preventing heart attacks.)
