Pulmonary Embolism Support Group
By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.
Guess maybe you need to go get yourself a pretty hard hat. Or start using tons of hairspray to get that helmet-head effect!
Later i started to get a good headache so i did go to emerg. The dr checked me pretty good as it was the same dr who diagnosed my PE's. She wouldn't allow me to go home alone that night....I had to go stay at a friends place just in case.
A week later they did a Ct scan as i was still having headaches and had blurry vision on a couple occassions. Ct was negative. They figure i rattked the lil piece of grey matter pretty good and it just needs time to settle down.
I am still around to talk about this....... but my dr's do a great job of keepiing me in one piece.
just wondering how you are doing? i recently bumped heads with my baby, he didnt cry but in the back of my mind i have been worried ever since. then the other day i bumped my head on the wall while i was sleeping. I have a mild headache but the doctor told me it could be a sinus head ache. no nausea no double vision nothing like that just a mild headache and full of anxiety.. i hope to hear how you are doing and if your doc gave you any thing to look out for, take care

By the way. The reason I haven't been on here lately is the hospital where I work has been running a 2 for 1 special in ER and we have just been slammed. Ifg i didn't know better i would swear it was a full moon.
