Pulmonary Embolism Support Group
By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.
I agree with you (and could name several other illnesses that fall in the same 'track' as DVTs/ PE's----- massively underdiagnosed and some of them massively undertreated)
I said "I've been watching this over the last year or so and hope that it's an omen of things to come." but didn't say that it was here yet. lol
