Pulmonary Embolism Support Group
By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.
Oof! That's a huge mistake! Did you report it---- and did they correct it?
I've only noticed some small errors on mine--- charging for a medicine I refused was one, and repeated each day. (It wasn't a necessary drug but a stool softener! As I refused, each day, I offered to let them view my BMs and then tell me if I needed a stool softener!!! LOL)
There are some other items that I have to check out that are more expensive. Although the Charge Master File is 'available' to everyone, I've yet to find it on the Internet for my hospital. My hospital may make it available ONLY if you go to the hospital and request it. Another way to keep the peasants from asking questions.
My conundrum ---- since my insurance pays for everything I wasn't 'out of pocket'.
I'm still trying to decide what to do. But wrong is wrong!
