By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.

Good morning! Just wanted to see how everyone was doing. 


Now that the  new years break is over I am hoping to hear from all my doctors to see where we go from here and to assess the results of the chest x-ray, ekg and CT scan that were done in the ER on 1/1/17.


I'm out on a cardio walk now so physically I feel good. I was able to work some from home yesterday and that was good. It's just the emotional side...concerned and still a little scared.


But I'm here....making a post while taking a walk and that is a good thing.


As I mentioned before...here for support and to support others.

My Yahoo started delivering daily verses to my inbox recently and this morning it delivered Isaiah 40:31. I kept reading and I came across this verse shortly thereafter which I've always liked very much:

Isaiah 41:10

10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

All,

I had a chance to meet with my family practitioner and cardiovascular doctor yesterday and it went well. Today I saw pulmonogist and he saw me well.

I've been feeling really well since the PE but today I feel like I've hit a brick wall and I feel very tired, fatigued, my arm hurts and my chest is compressed.

I know this is all part of it. I have to trust in my Xarelto as I did previously and remember that I suffered from a PE. About an hour ago I found myself blowing into the fireplace pretty vigorously and that wore me out.

I am down emotionally right now but I'll snap out of it and have a great day tomorrow. Even though this evening has been tough it's still a good one.

How is everyone else?
