Pain on both sides

So I am starting to have pain on my left side even though my clot is on the right side. It's not sharp but a dull achey pain. Idk if it's from another clot and am considering going to the hospital. Can you get pain on both sides from one clot? My breathing hasn't changed and I'm not short of breath. I've been therapeutic since leaving the hospital at 2.3. It's been exactly one month since I was diagnosed and I'm worried that now I have another clot to worry about. Any advice?

First i will say im sorry you are having pain. I had/have pain on the opposite side of the effected side after my PE. I too went to the er to get checked out whiched turned out to be inflammation in my lungs from the PE and had to take some meds for it but my chest was hurting almost as bad as it was from the PE. I still have pains in my chest after almost four months. And thats with hard time breathing and with my breathing be ok. It seems like The recovery is worst then the actual PE. But you should always follow your gut feeling if you feel like you need to get checked get checked please. Its always better to be safe then sorry. I found a lump on my leg tuesday which started to bruise and got painful i went to get it checked today im still waiting on my test results but now im nervous i have an DVT.

Anyhow i went to the er after my pe almost everytime i had a pain or anything and they understand even if they didnt i still didnt care i went lol. If you feel something is wrong always get it checked.

I totally agree with Special C. I too experienced the same pain you're referring to and I too went to the ER several times thinking I had a new clot....only to discover it was inflammation. I was prescribed an anti inflammatory and sent on my way. I think for your own sanity and to be safe, you should go; but I would not be surprised if it's inflammation of the lungs. I am one year into my recovery and I still have pain...albeit not as bad as previous months, but it still lingers. I wish you the best and for what it's worth, it does get better with time.
