I'm just wondering if this is normal for anyone else.
I got out of the hospital last week from a submassive PE and been on Eliquis 5 mg twice a day now. Already on the first week my lungs feel a lot better but there's something going on with my legs....
My pain in the leg is like 2-3 out of 1-10 in my right leg (even though my left one was the one that had a DVT) I'm just freaking out and have no idea if this is normal or not. On top of that there is a VERY small swelling in my right foot near the boney bump of my ankle that I don't know if it's a clot or not.
Left leg experiences 1-2 pain.
Any of you guys experienced this and is this normal?...
(Also I'm new, so sorry if I seem to be doing something wrong in my post)
A PE really does a number on your head, we tend to become hypervigilant to things we would have ignored before. I found it helpful to remind myself that I was already getting the treatment for a clot. From what you're describing, to me it sounds more like you managed to twist or hurt your right leg/ankle a little. Good luck with your healing!
