Pulmonary Embolism Support Group
By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.
I also read some about vitamin E
and baby aspirin.
Aspirin is great for arterial clotting prevention and stroke/heart attack.
There are a lot of supplement, vitamins, foods that can affect your bodies own internal clotting ability both in good and bad ways. From my own research, there is no sure fire prevention other then staying healthy and listening to your body.
