By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.
Hi friends, my INR is finally up to a therapeutic level and I'm sure by tomorrow its going to be way over therapeutic after the doctor gave me the double dose of Coumadin a couple days ago 25 MG total). I just have to take a lower dose of Coumadin when my INR comes back at 10.0 LOL
But the happy news is I'm finally home and feeling awesome. I even get to go back to work on Tuesday as long as I don't start the GI bleeding again. Doc says i should probably take it easy for the next couple of days and I will. However if its nice out tomorrow i have every intention of going out and doing some work in my yard.
