By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Hi girls, this is not the prettiest discussion, but I really need to ease my over anxious mind!
Have any of you experienced more in-grown hairs then normal?
I always used to get the occasional in grown hair around my bikni area!
and sometimes they were thos really hard annoying ones almost like a boil!
But ever since I started coumadin I notice that Ive been getting them more often and not only in the area!
I have had one on my armpit, belly, back, and sometimes on my legs...not all at once they all came separately.
But this is unusual for me as I have never been prone to body pimples or boils or anything...just like I said that occasional annoying ingrown hair or boil thing that most girls experience in our bikini area.
It seems like its almost everywhere I shave...except the one of my back and belly cuz i dont shave there.
They also seem to take longer to go away too! I hate it.
Ive heard these kinda of things can be caused by stress, but I wonder if anyone else is experiencing this maybee as a side effect to coumadin?

I just read on askpatient.com that some people did experience ingrown hairs as a side effect of coumadin. Hmm, I will try to moisturize more often! Im afraid to shave right now bc I dont want to get another one!!!!! But i hate not shaving bc im a girlie girl! I just get anxious, ever since my pe I get worried that anything is something bad even a ingrown hair or whatever this is!
I guess i shouldnt frette about it huh?
Oh p.s. Solta, this could be related to the hormones flucuating in our bodies from stopping b.c. too. But I did read on ask patient.com about people getting more of these lil things from coumadin too...so who knows right?
