By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.
Dried green tea leaves (not brewed) has a lot of Vit K in it.
So, if you have to watch your Vit K input---- as many do that are taking an anticoagulant like Coumadin (warfarin) be aware of the difference between dried tea leaves and brewed tea.

It's starting to look like sites that states green tea is high in Vit K might have only looked at a gov. site that lists the amount of Vit K in green tea BY WEIGHT OR TABLESPOON. That dried amount of green tea leaves, if put into capsules and ingested would definitely be high in Vit K. BUT as brewed (very important) the amount of Vit K is no higher than, say, chamomile tea.
To make tea, people typically use 1 teaspoon of tea leaves in 8 ounces boiling water. And they don't eat the tea leaves, just the infusion.
