By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.

i asked the doc about it, and he said its more than likely increased blood flow from the coumadin and the fact that ive drastically increased my activity level in the last two months. the capillaries in your nasal passage get swollen and engorged with blood, theres less space to breathe, hence the stuffy nose.
