Pulmonary Embolism Support Group
By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.
So, my GUESS would be if it was just a little and you're not continuing to have it, it's probably not something to worry about, but always follow your own instincts, and if it's enough that you're feeling quite concerned, then at least give a call to the doctor or go to the ER and get checked out. One good thing about going to the ER post-PE is they tend to treat us with a little more compassion and understanding when we have these types of issues come up.
Hope you feel better!

Course, yeah, if it starts happening more frequently, I'll definitely give my doc a call.
Thanks again!
