By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.

I think what they are doing is great. I'm too shy to be an outspoken Advocate...for now. I want to though.
I wish we could start some campaign that gets Dr's to take symptoms more seriously so people will stop dying from misdiagnosis. Or, almost dying. All some of us needed was a cat scan.
