By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.
It has been over three months and I am finally going to take the 2.5 hour drive to our favorite hotel in the mountains and would love to enjoy a glass of wine with our dinner at the restaurant. Does anybody on xarelto have an occasional drink? Is it a no no?
It might not be so much because of the blood thinning medications but more for the anxiety and pain medication interactions. But I sure could use a glass of wine some days
