Hi All, I have not been on her in such a long time. Been dealing with numerous issue pertaining to my daughter and her eating disorder (she has progressed but still such a battle) anyway I wanted to update everyone and tell you the 4th anniversary of my husbands DVT PE and SCA was in May. He has finally come full circle. He is doing GREAT FANTASTIC and so so so much better. Our lives have been turned upside down in the past but there is hope for all and it's important for me to tell anyone going through this to be PATIENT. it can take years not weeks or months! But hang in and roll with it. It will be such a hard journey at times but I have seen him fully restored, happy, working again (OK in a new job not those old high pressured ones) but all these changes have been PERFECT. It has been a re routing of many things for him. I can't remember last time he felt this good. He will be a lifer on warfarin but that's fine. I have to fuss at him about doing his INR enough and he could stand to lose some weight but those are my only concerns so he has come such a long way. Anyone out there going thrush the immense trauma and fear of PE etc hang in there. There is healing, hope and yes the trauma, fear and all that will subside in time. And good health will return albeit slowly. This is a long journey. God bless everyone and Daily Strength kept me sane throughout! Hope all you old timers are doing great.
