By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.

I had the biopsy this a.m. and all went well except the doc said it was a tricky one and took twice as long. Feeling good, just a little sore. Will have to play the waiting game for a few days as results won't be in for 2-3 days. Also need to get my INR back up to 2.5. It had to come down for the procedure, so back to Lovenox and frequent INR checks. Also have a appt. with a surgeon tomorrow to check out another lump I found lower back near spine. I believe it and breast lump to be benign, but just need to know for sure. Whats with 2013 anyway??? Not my favorite year.

Saw a surgeon today and he said the lump I have near lower spin is a benign fatty tumor called a Lipoma. I can get it removed at some point if I want as well as gall bladder surgery. I will hold off on both. Now just waiting for biopsy results from yesterday :-)
