I am sorry that things are so overwhelming right now. Sometimes when it gets overwhelming I start writing a list of the issues that are racing through my mind. Then I pick out one at a time to work with. Sometimes it is really hard to write them down, but I put as many as I can down.
I know I can only work on one thing at a time so this helps get the extra out of my brain. Flashbacks are hard. I try a lot of positive self-talk, working through the flashback forcing it to become a non-event, one that is in the past and gone. It takes a lot of practice.
I am here to help support. Wishing everyone peace.-RJ
I will find the paper and post the website later today. Maybe it will help others as much as it has helped me.

Samantha, those memories are a lot to carry around and process, and my research showed the same as you, that BI and PTSD are often together/and since we are all different our memory banks past/present are different too, but for me it all jumbled together/hard to seperate/it became one big overstimulation. I hope you find a good therapist. Keep sharing here, and let us know how it goes! Hugs
