i loved what this treatment did for me but after a whiole it just came back and it was worse that ever and i just wanted it to go away and i became more self concious than ever and now i dont know what to do i just want it to go away and stay away for the rest of my life!!

aww .. unfortunately we are stuck with it,,,but just think it sould be alot worse,and we could have a much worst problem..

I found phototherapy to be very helpful. Only thing is you really have to stick with it to continue to work. Just like anybody, it will dry your skin out, so make sure to use lotion. I swear this stuff helps maintain in the winter, Jergen's Natural Glow. It's a tanning lotion. This stuff really, really worked for me, and is still working. If anybody tries it, please let me know if it works as well for you. I am curious to here. Try to apply about once a day. I hit and miss and have cleared up a lot since started using. Not positive it is the lotion and tanning, but have no other explanation.

Very helpful! I tan some in the winter, but am so glad now to be able to tan outside. I can even recall times I've been to the ocean, and on the beach for 2-
3 days, and much of the psoriasis clears.
Just gotta keep that up!

Unfortunately, my skin is VERY light and I am way sensitive to the sun. My mom says as a child I could get a sunburn walking to my car. As I've gotten older... well, at least I can make it to the car...

Someone has given me a phillips sun lamp to use in home for skin treatment. It did not come with an operations manual. Does anyone have a sunlamp that can tell me what the dials should be set on? I would like to try this treatment. tanning helps alot.

I am undergoing phototherapy right now. It was ok my first few procedures... and my thumb is looking really clear... but then I had a girl do the procedure and she jacked up the percentage and I now have blisters. Today would have been my fifth procedure, but they said they wouldn't do it with the blisters. I'm trying not to give up hope on this... The appointments don't take very long, just a few moments, but you have to go for many sessions. I just hope it works. We'll see.

Now a days uvb and PUVA treatment are in used for many diseases.
As for as concern with uvb it is used for many skin condition, But as every one know that about 90% skin cancer cases are caused by uvb light. So your should avoid this technique of treatment.

sO uvb is like tanning spas correct? cause i would really love to figure something out.. i have G P and so i get little spots al over, and my doc told me to try photolight therapy but my insurance wont cover it, so i need to figure something out... and on top of it im scared to try it due to the fact that most of my psoriasis went away but left little white spots of "hyper pigmentation" and im scared they will never go away... can someone please help!!!
