like you said, i myself and very self conscious about it, it holds me back socially with girls cause you never know how someone will react. i kinda get afraid to get to close to a girl and then having them find out and all of a sudden feel differently about me just cause my of skin. my skin isnt guna make me treat you any differently.
i had a gf of 4 years and it took me awhile to tell her but after i did she didnt even care. it didnt bother her at all and she even helped put ointment on. the one problem i have now is i think ill never find someone else that wont care about it, so its a struggle to find not only the right person but anyone really. hopefully one day ill find her.
its the summertime so right now the sun is your best friend for P, well it is for me anyway, it helps alot
For around 10 years I never went to the beach, or pools, or even wore anything other than long skirts and pants.
But then one day I just decided I wasn't going to let it control my life anymore and anyone that was offended by it or disgusted by the sight wasn't the sort of person I'd want in my life anyway.
Since then I realised that apart from a couple of idiots, most people don't even notice and if they do they don't say or do anything that makes me feel uncomfortable.
I even met my husband after I just started to get back into life again and he has never ever commented on my P except to ask me if I need prescriptions picked up.
I've had a daughter, and she's 16 now and showing no signs of getting P so I'm hopeful she won't.
I guess what I'm trying to say is there is hope, there are worse things we could have...but you have to keep telling yourself that and eventually you start to believe it.
Big hugs and I hope it works out for you!
